Description
These large and handsome butterflies LOVE flowers and will add to your garden pleasure. Plant a butterfly bush and be awed by the number and variety of butterflies you see. This picture was taken July 27, 2013, in Green Lane, Pennsylvania, USA, with a Canon T4i and a Tamron 90mm macro lens.
This would make a nice Thank You card or Thinking of You card.

Carol, a most beautiful capture! Does my heart good to see this, as we had so few butterflies this summer, and last week or so they seem to all be gone. It went so fast, I managed to capture a few, but mostly decided to enjoy the visiting, rather trying to get so many captures. Of course, now I am wishing I did try harder! lol

Yes, there was a noticeable dirth of butterflies this year and do seem to be gone now :)
