Description
The Olive Hairstreak Butterfly (Mitoura grynea) is a lovely little hairstreak that shows up along the seaside during the summer. It is also called the Juniper Hairstreak. They are usually found in stands of Red Cedar and disturbed places.
This one was photographed July 10, 2012, on Island Beach State Park in Seaside Park, New Jersey, USA.
