Description
Last year we were overrun with butterflies of all sorts - swarms and swarms of them! This year I can count them on 2 hands - really upsetting. My butterfly bush is so bare without them.
This beautiful butterfly was on our day lilies - we had it for a day and it was gone, but I have a picture:>) It's obviously a new hatch and absolutely perfect. There are a few color phases of Tiger Swallowtails and we have them. The pale (almost white where the yellow normally is), the dark phase that looks like it's been dusted with black talc, and a few in-between phases. They are all lovely. This butterfly is a "normal" one:>)
