Description
These are small fungi but, as you can see, both intricate and pretty. These are "fruiting bodies" only - kind of like the flowers of a plant - with the rest of the fungus inside the tree/branch it grows on.
I'm pretty confident with this ID, but there is always room for doubt:>)
The picture was taken April 5,2016, in Green Lane, Pennsylvania, USA, with a Canon T4i and a Tamron macro lens (90mm).
