Description
Our dogwood tree is quite old and pretty big for a dogwood. This past ice storm took down one of the larger branches, so I went out to take some pictures of the "good" parts in case more damage happened. So far, so good - whew!
I used a filter to tint the image and one of my own texture layers to enhance that and soften the background.

So very elegant! I love the ice stalactites. L/F
Carol Senske replied:
I think you are in winter right now and probably don't want to think of ice and snow - we are in the midst of a heat wave and these stalactites look might fine - LOL Thank you, Linda! I feel cooler already.

Mother Nature, this is such a lovely image, simple in its composition but the message of hardships of winter is so apparent. Beautiful but deadly ice!

Thank you ever so much - I really loved the ice-covered landscape in spite of all the troubles it caused!
