The ocean can get very dramatic at Diamond Shoals; this is where the Labrador Current and Gulf Stream crash into each other creating lots of shoals and waves, even in the best weather.

You can't really tell that the waves are coming in from four different directions - so many shoals! It was a fisherman's_woman's Heaven, especially in a storm. Thanks for the L/F and beautiful comment:>)

There is nothing like a riled up ocean to remind folks of nature's dominance. It's an awesome feeling to be standing in front of 4 to 6 foot crashing breakers. Thank you for the nice comment!
