Description
There are many types of wild asters and they can be difficult to identify. They are generally autumn blooming plants, and the colors in our area range from white to deep purple. They enjoy waste places with good sunlight and often are growing in the company of goldenrod which creates a great color contrast.

Beautiful composition of flowers and so colorful. It seems the bee finds them delightful too. v2/f

This is an explosion of beautiful colors, Carol! I love the detail and delicacy of the blooms, and the bee is like the cherry on top of the chocolate sundae! Makes for a perfect combination! Very well done, my friend!
