Description
There is a lovely, six acre private garden in Quissett, part of Falmouth, Massachusetts. The public is welcomed in from 8 AM to 8 PM each day, and you can wander the paths, listen to the birds, gaze out over the pond, and be amazed at the lovely flowers.
Charles and Margaret Spohr started planting the grounds around their home in the 1950's, and they found the beauty of the place drew in visitors from far and wide.
When Charles and Margaret died, the Gardens were left to the Margaret K. Spohr and Charles D. Spohr Charitable Trust. Although charitable donations are gratefully accepted, there is never a fee to visit.
