Description
This bumblebee was looking for some tasty pollen; early spring means the pickings aren't as plentiful as later on. This apple tree is right next to the kitchen door - I can hear the bees as they go about their work.
I used a texture from Shadowhouse Creations for this image.

Congrats on your Featured Image on WFS : )
Carol Senske replied:
This is actually an image I enjoy - the antiqued look reminds me of Victorian postcards:>) Thank you for coming by and commenting, Jeannie! Why, we are almost neighbors - LOL! Were you part of the Capturing The Greater Lehigh Valley website?

Thank you all for these lovely comments and congrats:>) I hope you'll forgive me for not doing this individually, but we are in and out of electric power and I'm grabbing the moment. Ice, slush, snow - too much for some trees, branches, and power lines. This is a huge honor for me, and I am more grateful than words can express to Randy for giving me this wonderful spotlight. Thanks, Everyone!
