This is what I've always called a jelly mushroom - such a beautiful orange! These grow on dead or almost dead branches in our woods (hardwood forest) in Green Lane, PA., USA. The picture was taken April 20, 2011.

I always wanted to try photography, and my retirement offered an opportunity to do just that. The natural world is my first love.
