Description
This Great mercian Egret was fishing on the edge of a creek in a tidal marsh. He was dwarfed by the vast landscape of tall, yellow wildflowers.
This picture was taken October 2, 2014, in the Bombay Hook Preserve in Delaware, USA. I used a Canon T4i paired with a Tamron 150-600 mm lens - used a tripod!
