Description
ALL PROCEEDS FROM SALES ON THIS IMAGE WILL GO TO HURRICANE RELIEF. I chose this image because this is Barnegat Lighthouse on Long Beach Island. A lighthouse is a symbol of hope and guidance - may it serve as some small hope for those who need it.
For now, the relief effort will be Hurricane Sandy that decimated Long Beach Island, Staten Island, and much of the rest of New Jersey and New York coastal communities.
Barnegat Lighthouse, NJ, sits on the northern end of the island overseeing Barnegat Inlet. It is affectionately called Old Barney by residents of Long Beach Island.

Carol Senske replied:
Your contributions are lovely, Sharon. I'm so pleased that FAA artists are contributing to Lin's group. The expressions of caring and concern by others can help people so much when there seems to be no light.
