Description
The deer are moving more with the advent of Autumn and a decrease in food. This buck is a gorgeous guy, a beautiful specimen. They are not yet in the "rut" (breeding season) but a frost or two will change that. For now this deer is traveling alone and ignores the passing of other, smaller bucks.
The picture was taken this morning (October 14, 2014) with a Canon T4i and a Tamron 18-270 lens, and shot through our back window (two windows, really if you count the storm window). The locale is Green Lane, Pennsylvania, USA.
