The Center for Disease Control has recommended the use of cloth face masks to help fight the spread of COVID-19.
This face mask is made from 100% polyester and includes two ear loops with adjustable grommets for a comfortable fit.
The printed area of the mask is approximately 7" wide by 5" tall. This mask fits well on adult mens' faces without the grommets but, due to the adjustable grommets, can be worn snuggly by adult women, as well.
Please note - this is NOT a surgical grade mask. It is not intended for any medical or commercial uses, whatsoever. It is a simple, cloth mask designed for everyday use to cover your mouth when out in public. The mask should not be used in any medical or surgical setting.
We make no warranties that the mask prevents infections or the transmission of viruses or diseases.

UPDATE: This beautiful mural has been destroyed - how sad. It survives in pictures, however, and I hope this picture keeps both the mission of many to save our oceans and the magnificence of the life in those waters in our thoughts.
This is one of many magnificent murals painted in cities across America, Canada, Australia, Japan, France, the world. This image comes from photos I took while visiting Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. It is titled Whaling Wall #42 "East Coast Humpbacks" - Original painting by Wyland. I wish I'd taken more pictures, better pictures, but you can get an idea of the beauty and dramatic impact of Wyland's work. This link will take you to a list of the 100 Whaling Walls and information on each of these masterpieces. They will take your breath away and steal your heart.

We need to be shepherds of our planet; Earth is more fragile than we care to believe, and we do...
I always wanted to try photography, and my retirement offered an opportunity to do just that. The natural world is my first love. Here you will find pictures of things both large (landscapes, for instance) and small (macro) that catch my eye. I hope the images serve as a window into the natural world many of you don't have the chance to see. In a sense, I'm trying to create a guided nature trail, sharing what information I have about the subject. I'm always grateful for new and better information and welcome all input. Learning is food for the mind and soul. Nothing is ever harmed in the picture-taking process, but some things that wander into our home (like spiders) are carefully removed from the house after they serve as "models"....

These pictures are wonderful Carol, and it is a most important and precious tribute post as well of course! Thank you for sharing and for caring so much! We most certainly all have to and help in any way we can. I'm sad to read the mural was destroyed but very glad you left the address of this wonderful foundation, as I'm sure their work continues! Thank you!
Carol Senske replied:
This was a magnificent, huge painting (must have been 40 feet high on the side of the building). What a great heart someone must have to give so much to us.
