Description
I love Irises! They are stately, beautiful, and are found in so many colors. The Wild FLags are probably my favorites, but the cultivated types are irresistible, too:>). Cheers for thee lovely, easy-care flowers!
Here's a nice little write up, a quick read on how to grow and maintain the Bearded Iris plants.

Absolutely stunning!!
Carol Senske replied:
You made my day, Jordan! Coming in and finding such a lovely compliment is really uplifting, even as my body sinks downward into the chair. I'm amazed that the woods are still coated in ice - well, maybe not. The temp got to 28 deg F and the sun is shining so there is a little bit of melting, not much, though:>) The ice is an amazing sight!

Carol----congratulations on your feature in WFS! Artist of the Day :) Also---take care in this weather---and keep us posted. Love this heavenly piece! lvf
Carol Senske replied:
Hi, Nava Jo! So many others have it so much worse, we are not complaining, just working hard to keep ahead of the storms that roll in and dump stuff. Right now it's a wonderland of crystal trees and glistening ice, but a real hazzard to walk in. Still, the beauty is undeniable. Thanks, my dear!
Mother Nature
Thank you all for these lovely comments and congrats:>) I hope you'll forgive me for not doing this individually, but we are in and out of electric power and I'm grabbing the moment. Ice, slush, snow - too much for some trees, branches, and power lines. This is a huge honor for me, and I am more grateful than words can express to Randy for giving me this wonderful spotlight. Thanks, Everyone!
