Product Details

The Center for Disease Control has recommended the use of cloth face masks to help fight the spread of COVID-19.

This face mask is made from 100% polyester and includes two ear loops with adjustable grommets for a comfortable fit.

The printed area of the mask is approximately 7" wide by 5" tall.   This mask fits well on adult mens' faces without the grommets but, due to the adjustable grommets, can be worn snuggly by adult women, as well.

Please note - this is NOT a surgical grade mask. It is not intended for any medical or commercial uses, whatsoever. It is a simple, cloth mask designed for everyday use to cover your mouth when out in public. The mask should not be used in any medical or surgical setting.

We make no warranties that the mask prevents infections or the transmission of viruses or diseases.

When one looks past the pesky side of this little rodents, they are a blast to watch in their daily olympics, from high wire acts, to short bursts of speed, to appear to leap tall trees in a single bound! Oh yes, we have just described, "Superchipper" LOL, and this is a super capture, Carol, as your composition is perfection at its best! Very detailed and love all the elements. Thanks for sharing this cutey with us. Got The big "Elvis" F/V on this grandiose display of another wonder of mother nature!

Carol Senske replied:

A fun comment, Randy - did you ever notice how they stay so clean in spite of living in dirt? If we could discover how they do that, we could market it to parents! I love getting the "big Elvis" F/V - thank you, thank you very much:>)

Bob Orsillo

LOL This is so cool! - You made my day with cute little fellow! v/f

Carol Senske replied:

Hi, Bob:>) At the moment, we have four or five in perpetual motion outside the house. I love to watch them climb trees; people don't expect that and they are as agile as the gray squirrels except for the leaping. Our old yellow tom (fixed) cat, Bubba, used to be a scourge and we'd watch him closely when he was outside; now he's old and slow so he sits on the big rock and waits, in the sunshine, eyes drooping sleepily, for one to appear from underneath. When one does pop up, he snaps to and watches it, but seems to decide a chase isn't worth the trouble and he goes back to daydreaming. Thanks for the comment, vote, and fave:>)

So cute Carol! When I was 5 I picked one up by the tail and it bite me in my finger.! They are such adorable little creatures.

Carol Senske replied:

And you still like them even after they treated you so mean! Are there chipmunks in Hawaii?

Lianne Schneider

My mother hates chipmunks - calls them pests - but I've always thought they were really delightful to watch. Great shot Carol. Love it. F/V

Carol Senske replied:

We enjoy them, too. Yesterday we watched one of them run about 20 feet up into out oak tree, stretch out in the crook of a branch, and quietly survey his world. Ten minutes later he came down (head first) and disappeared into his burrow. They climb perfectly! Thank you, too, for coming by - I love company!!!! - especially when they are so nice as to leave V/F:>)

Artist's Description

The Eastern Chipmunk (Tamias striatus) is actually a small squirrel. They make complex tunnels underground with many entrances, and they are superb housekeepers. There are specific sleeping quarters and a separate garbage tunnel for toileting and other refuse.

These captivating rodents have one or two litters a year with 4 to 5 babies, and the lifespan of a wild chipmunk is around 2 years. They are not true hibernators but do sleep a lot during the winter. We see them running about on warm days even when snow covers the ground.

Chipmunks like areas with rocks and trees because of the cover this type of landscape provides. They are omnivorous, eating seeds, berries, insects, worms, and even an occasional baby bird. They are marvelous tree climbers.

This picture was taken on May 5, 2012, in Green Lane, PA.

About Carol Senske

Carol Senske

I always wanted to try photography, and my retirement offered an opportunity to do just that. The natural world is my first love. Here you will find pictures of things both large (landscapes, for instance) and small (macro) that catch my eye. I hope the images serve as a window into the natural world many of you don't have the chance to see. In a sense, I'm trying to create a guided nature trail, sharing what information I have about the subject. I'm always grateful for new and better information and welcome all input. Learning is food for the mind and soul. Nothing is ever harmed in the picture-taking process, but some things that wander into our home (like spiders) are carefully removed from the house after they serve as "models"....
