Description
This flower head lasted through the winter and is still standing. I photographed it this afternoon when the sun was coming through the fragile petals.

A beautiful collage! I like the top left and bottom right frames best, as there is more contrast. In some ways it looks like a little tree! What sort of flower was it?
Carol Senske replied:
It is a "winter-dried" hydrangea flower head:>). I believe the name is Annabelle - an old time hydrangea. Thanks!
