Description
These orb weaver spiders like to build their webs over water at something approximating a 45 degree angle. This azalea hangs out over a fish pond.
The spider has a common name of "Long Jawed" or "Ogre Faced". Their webs are lovely after a heavy dew or gentle rain:>). There are quite a few species of Tetragnathidae.
