These pretty little gems are blooming right now (May 20, 2015) in Green Lane, Pennsylvania, USA. I took the picture with my Canon T4i paired with a Tamron 90mm macro lens. I don't know how they got to be growing in our yard but we do like them. They are an introduced species that can crowd out native plants in some situations. You can get more information here:
