Description
This is not a large polypore, but it is pretty and reminds me of a flower. It grows here from June until late fall, and it seems to like moss and twigs. These were on the edge of a ditch. People have been known to pick them and let them dry, then incorporate them into decorative objects.
The picture was taken in late summer 2012 in Green Lane, Pennsylvania, USA. I use a Canon T4i with a Tamron macro lens 1:1
Here is a site to get more info: I may be incorrect with the ID but it seems good.

The leaf next to these guys gives me an idea of their size. They make up for it with the punch they carry in the beauty category!!! Lovely! F/V
