Description
These flowers have a pouchy front with an opening. The yellow is the opening to the blossom and the rippled red with the white tracery is the pouch. It is an unusual plant, a vine, and this is a cultivated version, not the wildflower.
The picture was taken the 6th of May, 2015, in Ott's Greenhouse in Schwenksville, Pennsylvania, USA. I used my Canon T4i with a Tamron macro (90 mm) lens.

My brother has a vine growing on the fencing that rims his deck - it's a great plant!
