Description
This Mother Raccoon is out during daylight because she needs nourishment to feed her little ones. Generally they prefer the dark of night. She eats the seed and peanuts right out of the feeders.
The picture was taken with a Canon T4i paired with a Tamron 18 - 270 mm lens. This is in our yard in Green Lane, Pennsylvania, USA. and the date was May4, 2016.
Today I took a picture of her eating the cat food on the ground while our two cats sat by watching. She is bigger and they are smart enough to know that. Mostly the critters are a live-and-let-live community.
