Description
This is a hi key image of a beautiful songbird that is common here in Pennsylvania, especially in winter. The female is not as brilliant and showy, but her colors are lovely - soft olive greens and hues of tan tinged with red. These birds are at the feeders at first light and eating right up until dark. Cardinals pair for life.
Our hydrangeas offer the wild birds a place to sit and wait their turn at the feeders in the garden.
