Description
I'm not positive what specific kind of thistle this is, but it's a lovely flower. They bloom at the end of summer and on into fall, thus portending the change of seasons.
I took this photo in Green Lane, Pennsylvania, USA, at the beginning of September 2016. The camera was my Canon T4i and a Tamron macro lens (90 mm).
