Great shot. Is it eating a caterpillar?

It has a geometer moth caterpillar. These caterpillars love flowers so the spiders know to sit and wait in a leaf axil, for instance, until some unsuspecting bug comes along and offers itself up as a meal. Thanks for the generous words!

Hi, Claire:>) I trust winter is treating you well and the snow is falling in just the right amount to be pretty, not a nuisance. These guys wander about, looking for hidey places to launch their ambush from. Crab spider, in general, are strong, and these are no exception. Kind of tough looking - like mini tanks - LOL.
