This Mom was keeping watch as her little ones took a nap. Dad was right there, too, and will show up in another picture. These are migratory geese and not the pests that non-migratory Canada Geese can be. They are also extremely protective of their goslings.
This picture was taken on May 3, 2014, in Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA. I used a Canon T4i camera with a Tamron 18 - 270 lens.
