Description
Blue Jays are rather large, rambunctious, loud, and most entertaining. They screech, call, and come into the feeding area like dive bombers. I have a picture of one Blue Jay that had an unshelled peanut half swallowed and showing in it's throat while it had another peanut in it's beak. Amazing!
This picture was taken January 25, 2014, in Green Lane, Pennsylvania, USA. I used a Tamron 150-600mm lens through the kitchen window.

It seems to be huddling to keep warm! A wonderful capture through the kitchen window, Carol!

I love that you've captured the snow falling on this beautiful Blue Jay. They sound like they are interesting birds to have around. fav
Carol Senske replied:
They are! Some people hate them because they have an undeserved bad reputation, but they are smart, beautiful (if noisy and rambunctious) and a constant source of pleasure for me.
