Description
Green Lane Reservoir is HUGE - many acres, and it boasts recreation areas, nature trails, fishing, even swimming and tennis courts. I took this picture on October 25, 2015 with a Canon T4i and a Tamron 18-270 lens.
This particular spot is in Green Lane at the boat ramp of Green Lane, Reservoir, Pennsylvania, USA.

Covid put a big dent into my photo safaris - must try to get to the park when leaves are changing. Thank you!

Fallen leaves make me sad, Carol, but still I always admire the splendor of it. This is a stunning photo! L/F
Carol Senske replied:
Dear Nicole, you are always so supportive and kind. Thanks so much! I find Autumn to be strangely exhilarating, perhaps because nature is putting on one, big, glorious display before going to bed. Because I grew up with it, it's a comfort to have the swing of seasons. Even so, I completely understand the sadness you feel - summer is gone and winter is soon to be upon us:>) By the way, your grandchildren are just the most beautiful children!!!

How beautiful! I love that the water photographed as white. Adds to the beauty of the radiant oranges! F/L+
Carol Senske replied:
Thank you! The water was grey because it was so cloudy and the breezes kept it rough enough that I didn't see any reflection at all. Sometimes things work out well (again, thank you for the nice comment).
