Description
Blue Jays are rather large, rambunctious, loud, and most entertaining. They screech, call, and come into the feeding area like dive bombers. When there are hawks nearby, they warn he other birds and everyone freezes in place for a couple minutes - interesting to watch as they slowly unfreeze and go back to eating.
This picture was taken January 25, 2014, in Green Lane, Pennsylvania, USA. I used a Tamron 150-600mm lens through the kitchen window.

Snowbirds sing their happy song, while trying to stay warm, I bet! LOL I am very pleased to make this special FEATURE, on our homepage of the Wisconsin Flowers and Scenery Homepage. It is of the highest quality and integrity and this piece of artwork is very well deserving of high accolades by all members of FAA! I am proud to display and promote your grand artworks, and am very happy to have you as a member of our family of friends and fine artists within our WFS group. Liked Forever, Elvis

This just makes my day, Randy. We have been so involved in keeping ahead of the weather and helping out a neighbor that these picture of birds were a welcome break for me. Thank you so much for this honor!

Whole families have been raised in our back yard....I always worry that they will dive bomb Feather, especially when the young ones are there. Even the young ones are BIG! Beautiful shot! F/V
Carol Senske replied:
I could see them doing that, just like Mockingbirds. Poor Feather - such a sweet kitty - I hope they never do that! Thanks for all your support, Nancy!
